Hi friends! i'm NEARLY uptodate with my editing! woop woop! only one more to go :) In this video i try to make a copy of a 7th century Merovingian Axe. that is held by the British Museum. I use bronze and of course i have a lot of problems. I had a really fun time though and i'm learning loads. I think i may have an idea where i went wrong on this one, but if you guys have any tips or help please let me know in the comments section. My next video is a SAXON / VIKING style axe and i will make the vieo even shorter (as i hope to do less and less of the 'basic/how to' stuff (not that i think i know what i'm doing - just that it's nice to explain the total basics, in case someone knows nothing) Soon i hope to be able to concentrate more on the unique/interesting things about each casting instead. Please rate/share and comment - i read them all, thanks loads o/ PS casting a bronze axe is hard! #DIYcasting #HomeCasting #BackyardFoundry
