Marek Mendygral sends his seasons greetings to those who have enjoyed his re-edits on my channel. Eruption’s Leave A Light - a cover of a minor hit by Caston & Majors from 1974 - did not repeat the worldwide success of I Can’t Stand The Rain upon its release in September 1978 but peaked at a disappointing #43 in the German charts as its best result. It still became the title track of their second album, released January 1979, and it is really a wonderful recording, its message “I feel so good when I help my fellow man“ being very appropriate for the festive season.
