Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, No. 2. Played on Recorder #pianomusic #playedonrecorder Here is my version of this wonderful piece of music by Frederick Chopin. I have arranged it for recorder so as a result it is shorter than the original piano piece and with less notes in the “runs“. I still think this piano music sounds great on Recorder. I played an Aulos plastic Alto recorder. Chopin composed this well-known Nocturne in E♭ major, Op. 9, No. 2 when he was around twenty years old. The Nocturnes, Op. 9 are a set of three nocturnes for solo piano written by Frédéric Chopin between 1831 and 1832, published in 1832, and dedicated to Madame Marie Pleyel. These were Chopin's first published set of nocturnes. The second nocturne of the work is often regarded as Chopin's most famous piece. I hope you enjoy it.
