In this figure painting video I show how I painted the French Commando miniature Philippe Kieffer by Dynamo Models in 1:35th scale. Parts of this miniature painting tutorial are pre colouring with an airbrush, painting uniform by brush, leather parts like boots and details like harness, backpack, metal like the Thompson MP and the sculpted France and Commando patch. Of course painting skin tones is a topic too, as is weathering and dirt and mud. The Thompson MP was painted with acrylic paints and finished with dark steel pigments. I hope this step by step guide is helpfull for one or two of you and I can show some techniques for beginners and veterans. Please let me know what you think about it. I would love to read your feedback and cronstuctive criticism. And if you liked what you saw, please consider supporting me by subscribing.
