The main thing I want to focus on in this demo is how to make sure the values in the painting work so that the highlight in the silver really stands out. Photographs tend to average out the light values, so I've made sure that the highlight in this reference photo is the highest value in the subject. Can we still make the cloth look white whilst painting it a lower value? Let's see! I give Friday Paint along sessions every week at 5PM UK time (12PM EDT, 9AM PDT). They are free to join.
