Full title reads: “London. 4 Exchanges in one! The Postmaster-General, Sir Kingsley Wood, inaugurates 'Mayfair' Building, housing 'Regent', 'Mayfair' - 'Langham' & 'Grosvenor' - Britain's largest & most up-to-date.“ London. A gentleman stands and hands over a souvenir to Sir Kingsley Wood, Postmaster General. He stands to make speech. Wood calls to a workman who has been working on the project to cut the wire that will set the telephone exchange in motion. As he cuts the wire a telephone bell starts to ring. Sir Kingsley shakes hands with the technician. Wood walks along the banks of the telephone exchanges where the female operators are working connecting calls. He chats to one of the operators. Good shot down a row of telephone operators - no VIPs in the way. One of the operators can be heard connecting a call to 'Holborn 123'.
