Endemic to the American continent,Troglodytes Aedon, commonly called House wren, is a small omnivorous passerine bird, with insects and their larvae predominating in its diet; It also eats lizards, seeds and fruits. It has a thin and long beak, and often curvilinear with its discreet plumage, in shades of gray and brown. It has a short and rounded wings with a tail of variable length, from very short to long and graduated. Its habitat always includes woody plants, in humid as well as dry environments, or it is a rupestrian habitat. Lives alone or in pairs; male and female sing as a duet. It builds a nest by lining any cavity, whether it be a hollow stick, a hole or even an abandoned nest of Rufous Hornero.
