۞ All support is hugely appreciated and it helps me keep the channel going! No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk around Ambleside Town in the poring rain. Walking through the centre of town we come across a heavy flowing river that passes under a house on a bridge. Bridge House was built over Stock Ghyll more than 300 years ago. It was purchased by local people in 1926 and given to the National Trust. Listed Grade I, the building is now used as an information centre for the National Trust, and is part of the Trust's Windermere and Troutbeck property. We continue around town until reaching St Mary's Church and have a look inside before finishing walking around the Churchyard. A lovely wet walk. Do enjoy :) My 87th of hopefully many video walks.
