This headstone, cleaning is a job that took many different days to complete, and both dish soap diluted in water and D2 biological solution to complete. These videos were taken over the course of around 3 months total, and it may seem confusing at certain points because I'm switching back-and-forth between using dish soap diluted in water and the D2 biological solution. It's very important to note that after each treatment with dish soap and water, the stone needs to be thoroughly rinsed to make sure the dish soap does not sit on the stone. Headstone, cleaning, such as this one can not be rushed. Stones like this are porous, and it takes time for the D2 biological solution to work the stains out and kill off all the living bacteria, algae, lichens, and other types of material that grow on headstones. It was an absolute honor to be able to clean this stone for the family that reached out for this job. The image you see on the front of the stone was actually designed by the person who was laid to rest in front of it. The first rule of headstone cleaning is to do no harm. And that is what is most important. I can't imagine damaging a headstone as beautiful as this using harsh chemicals or a pressure washer. If you're a headstone, cleaner, or looking at getting into headstone, cleaning. Please do your research air on the side of caution and always get permission. #cemetery #educationalvideo #graveyard #cleaning #headstonecleaning #headstone #d2biologicalsolution #dawndishsoap #d2 #dawn #gravestonecleaning
