edit 2: please do not repost! if its a community reshare, then that's perfectly fine and appreciated! However, do not reupload this video onto you're own channel please! If you see someone reupload, please kindly refer them back this and ask if they could either take it down or add proper credit (at the top of description of any platform). I do not have man other platforms yet including tik toc, twitter, and more so I may be unable to address them personally. However, please do not act aggressive when correcting them! So this was a fun idea i had a week or so back with this audio. The Fox and the Hound is one of my favorite childhood movies I watch a lot especially when i need a good cry. AU Explanation: In this “AU“ of The Fox and the Hound, Copper ends up killing Todd when seeking revenge. However, he is haunted by the memory of it and never is able to hunt a fox again without feeling guilt and fear. Vixey ended up surviving and moving on, but Todd was killed under Coppers paws and then skinned and kept as a prize pelt by the hunter (Since Todd was cared for by the widow his whole life and not in the wild, his fur would be very clean and well maintained thus making it more valuable). edit: yes, this is slightly based off the book version even though I've never personally read it myself. This “au“ idea however was originally based off the fact that Todd had lots of luck when evading the hunter and copper at the end of movie from escaping their smoking of their burrow, to the bear showing up, to even Copper deciding to stand up to the hunter at the end and let Todd live. I thought that if any of these hadn't happened, there would've been a much higher chance that Todd dies and Copper would end up feeling responsible/guilty after his adrenaline was down. I'm not too sure what would happen to Copper after this but I'd think he would either be unable to hunt well again and thus given to a different owner s a pet or he would push down his guilt until he became ruthless and cold. Either way, I think killing his best friend would haunt him and change him greatly. Audio:
