Aikido - Tenchi Nage Style Throws

Here are three attempts to use Irimi Nage while sparring in BJJ class It however it ended up being Tenchi Nage instead. I was able to use a Ude Gatame/Hiji Gatame underhook to turn my partner and then came in with Ai Gamae Ate to finish. In this video I was able to create a dilemma of sorts between the Ude Gatame/Hiji Gatame underhook on one side and the same Ude Gatame/Hiji Gatame underhook on the other side, allowing me to performTenchi Nage to either side as my opponent dictates. I feel like in these three instances I show much greater control than in the previous clip which is much more in line with the spirit of Aikido. #martialarts #aikido #bjj
