“The Crown Prince Who Pleased the Gods”《太子悦神》 Choreographer: 林靖 Michelle Lin Style: Chinese Classical Dance Music: 《一花一剑》李鑫一 Description: Based on the Chinese novel 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑂𝑓𝑓𝑖𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙’𝑠 𝐵𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 (Tian Guan Ci Fu) by Mo Xiang Tong Xiu (MXTX). “The Crown Prince Who Pleased the Gods“ is one of the Four Famous Tales from the novel, recounting a story of Flower Crown Martial God Xie Lian, who was the Crown Prince of Xianle before he ascended to the Heavenly Court. For the Lantern Festival, he was chosen for a martial performance to please the gods. Crown Prince Xie Lian holds a flower and wields a sword, which represents possessing the power of destruction while still holding the heart to cherish a flower. “上元佳节,神武大街,惊鸿一瞥,百世沦陷。” “太子悦神”是作者墨香铜臭的原创小说《天官赐福》中四名景之一。花冠武神谢怜飞升之前身为仙乐国太子殿下。上元佳节,神武大街,身着华服,手持宝剑。一手仗剑,一手执花,一花一剑,一愿人间幸。 坐拥灭世之力,不失惜花之心。 Performer: 林靖 Michelle Lin (all pronouns/她) ⚔️⚔️⚔️ “Wu” represents the connection between Chinese dance & Chinese martial arts — 舞(wǔ)means dance & 武 (wǔ)means martial arts.
