The Bacolod musicians and our music culture have been ongoing for many years, from generation to generation. Your very first live concert experience is something you’ll never forget, like the Highlander or Buclod concert in the 80s, the CIA band in the ’90s, and so on, and your favorite musician will probably be one of the coolest moments. There is just something so gratifying about live music. Singing and dancing with friends and strangers alike is a unique and beautiful experience only our musicians can provide. Most of the time, we forget the role of musicians in our lives. We don’t realize that they were there for us in our moments of depression, break-ups, losses, the COVID pandemic, and so much more. We hang out in the bar, listen to their music online or on the radio, and are transported to a surreal world. Bacolod musicians were always there when we needed them, and they never failed to put a huge smile on our faces no matter how upset we were! So thank you. Thank you
