Various shots of cars drawing up outside a grand hotel; doormen hold open doors and we see several dignitaries (Empire Prime Ministers?) and their wives get out. A man in a cloak ushers a little girl forward who presents one of the wives with a bouquet. M/S of Lord Mayor of London (Colonel Sir Rowland Blades) and Lady Mayoress being helped into horse drawn carriage by attendants in ceremonial robes and cocked hats. M/S of Duke of York (Prince Albert) and Duchess of York (Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon) getting into waiting car outside hotel. They shake hands with cloaked man as they pass him.
