Milarepa - The Song Of The Madman

Milarepa once was a 'ordinary' human being, before meeting with a Master. Taking up spiritual practice he “attained“ enlightenment, although in reality there's nothing to attain & no non-attainment. The wise one becomes free through understanding. The Lion-faced Dakini is appropriate for clearing obstacles of the most pervasive and malignant kind, and cutting through the “three poisons” of mind, using wisdom, meditation and discipline. The enlightened beings’ collective wisdom arose in the form of a wisdom being – the Lion-faced Dakini, empowered by all the Buddhas of the ten directions with their power and compassion to tame the demoness. This practice is one of the great antidotes for this critical time of the five degenerations. “These 5 degenerations that occur as human beings evolve over the eon of existence; they are: the degeneration of disturbing thoughts, of lifespan, of time, of view and of sentient beings.
