As this world was falling apart, my family and I took a day trip to another galaxy, aka the Imperial Sands Dunes in Southern California. It turned into a little Star Wars fan film. I recently came across my old 16mm Film camera in my attic. I found a way to mount the zoom lens, a Russian Meteor 5-1 17-69mm f1.9. When paired with the BMPCC original comes out to approx 50-210mm. I noticed this lens has some curving at the wider range which reminded me of CinemaScope/Anamorphics, so I opened up the lens and dropped-in a small CineMorph decal from Vid-Atlantic (customized for this lens). Overall the lens is pretty great. Not the sharpest lens, but lots of charisma - little to no chromatic aberration, edge-to-edge consistency, and very light coating so it flares easily and nicely.
