The numbering system for Scarlatti Sonatas is quite confusing. There are K numbers and L numbers. These are two completely different attempts to catalog all of the music of Domenico Scarlatti. He wrote more than 500 of these sonatas, and this one is one of my favorites. Generally pianists play both the A section and the B section exactly the same way as they repeat them. I did not do that. My A section has no ornaments the first time through, then I repeat that section with ornaments.
