John Kirby laments “mishap” of headless babies, dozens of civilian deaths White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby calls the recent IDF strike on a Rafah refugee camp which killed at least 45 civilians a “mishap”. He added that the United States is “glad” that the IDF is doing an investigation into the massacre. “A horrible loss of life. We’re glad that the Israeli Defense Forces are doing a full investigation, which we believe is going to be very important to try to prevent future such mishaps,” Kirby said with a straight face. Answering a reporter’s question, Kirby chided that there are no policy changes “to speak to” in response to the strike which killed dozens of women and children.
