After Donna Summer's success with Love To Love You, Baby, late 1975, Giorgio Moroder & Pete Bellotte were unstoppable. 1976 saw them release two more gold-selling albums on Donna (A Love Trilogy and Four Seasons Of Love) plus a Giorgio solo record (Knights In White Satin) and Roberta Kelly's Trouble-Maker. By 1977, they recorded this album credited to their music ensemble Munich Machine, comprising all the musicians who by now would be playing on everything coming out of Munich in those years - Boney M., Silver Convention, Amanda Lear, and so many more. Side 1 contains the sidelong, hard-pounding disco extravaganza Get On The Funk Train which hit #7 in the US Disco Charts and, when belatedly released in November '77, #41 in the UK charts. Side 2 was a fast-paced non stop medley of Moroder/Bellotte's hits from the previous years. The Midnite Ladies cooing on this record are Madeline Bell, Sunny & Sue, and Joanne Williams. 00:00 Get On The Funk Train 15:44 Love To Love You
