Thank you! 🙏 WHITE NIGHTS With this classical music playlist inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky’s story, we aimed to create our personal soundtrack - one that hopefully captures the atmosphere of the book, as it follows the relationship between the main character, a self-proclaimed «dreamer», and Nastenka. Like many of Dostoevsky’s stories, “White Nights“ is told in the first person by a nameless narrator. The narrator is a young man living in Saint Petersburg who suffers from loneliness. He gets to know and falls in love with a young woman, but the love remains unrequited as the woman misses her lover, with whom she is finally reunited. «I am a dreamer. I know so little of real life that I just can’t help re-living such moments as these in my dreams, for such moments are something I have very rarely experienced. I am going to dream about you the whole night, the whole week, the whole year...» FIRST NIGHT: «It was a wonderful night, the kind of night, dear reader, which is only possible when we are young…» 0:00:00 Schubert (arr.
