Tomorrow’s Gift - Goodbye Future 1972 Krautrock, Experimental This is a new Tomorrow’s Gift, maintained only by Manne Rurup and Bernd Kiefer’s original lineup. The great drummer Zabba Lindner came from an obscure band called Sphinx Tush and then the trio was adopted by celebrated producer, engineer and arranger Conny Plank, perhaps the most important figure in the krautrock scene. They took the most radical ideas from the previous phase and created very creative and complex instrumental textures. I may be wrong, but I think the cover makes a kind of homage to the British band Egg, a big influence of them. Later the trio would metamorphose in the Release Music Orchestra.
