This film is an adaptation of a short story by J.L. Borges transmitted into Russia. This is a story about the force that the words has sometimes, and about capacity of a man to use this force. While downshifting in the Siberian village, young Nikolay has to stay for a long time in the ancient house of his grandfather with a family from neighboring village because of heavy rain. They change life of each other in the final.
