Episode lore: After several days of hiding, Kevin begins to assemble his past colleagues - the Amalgams. He starts making amends with Alan, who still didn't get over Keving eating all of his pie slices one day. Meanwhile, Gwen tells Ben and Rook about a mysterious letter left by her Osmosian boyfriend. After decryption, it reaveals a secret message, asking Gwen to criticize Rook's attempt at recreating Alton Alabaster's methamphetamine formula (and also to help Kevin gather the rest of Amalgams). Contrary to the instruction, she takes Ben along and they manage to rescue Helen and Manny from the Rooters just in time. During their trip back to Earth, Vilgax calls the team to inform them about the intel he was able to gather about Greg's connection to Rooters. Turns out he has been helping them with gathering and creating to fuse humans with alien DNA for many years. Meanwhile, unable to convince the others to follow, Kevin goes to the Null Void himself. His reunion with Servantis is eventually interrupted by Ben and team (who took their time with a pizza party). Proctor invites Kev to continue their conversation in private, while the Amalgams get their memories back and decide to fight alongside Rooters. Ben manages to defeat everyone, but unexpectedly Kevin turns against him, and the heroes are forced to run. Was he ever really on their side?
