The cloud forest awaits... We visited Ecuador once before but quickly realized there was so much more to be discovered in this beautifully diverse South American country. From adventuring through the cloud forests and discovering tiny glass frogs at Mashpi Lodge, to exploring historic Hacienda Zuleta nestled in the Avenue of Volcanoes among ancient ceremonial pyramids, hiking through the rugged landscape of Cuenca dotted with wild alpacas and horses roaming the plains, and participating in an enchanting Shamanic blessing with the Saraguro people in Loja, we feel like we truly have a more complete understanding of this incredible country after this trip.
