This is an HD time-lapse video of comet Lemmon C/2012 F6, taken on 6-Feb-2013 from a rural location 70 miles from Buenos Aires, through an apo refractor (AP130GT) operating at f/4.6, using a modded canon 1000D. Bult from a set of 36 3-minute exposures, 5 seconds appart, using iso1600. There is a hint of the tail and its structure. Background stars belong to the constellation of Octans, on the south celestial pole. Also visible are some satellite trails. Cheers!
