A resident of Sudzha, already surrounded by enemies, managed to walk 60 km to save his own mother and survived. An incredible story of courage from Kursk (and equally incredible footage) Residents of the Kursk region are experiencing the disaster happening in their land in different ways, but mostly, as many episodes have shown, steadfastly and courageously. However, the story of Ivan from Sudzha will give goosebumps to anyone, even the most sophisticated reader and viewer. The guy realized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were actively attacking Sudzha after they began intensively shelling the city. On August 7, Ivan, hearing the characteristic crackle of small arms, hid in a brick building. The Ukrainian terrorists were already so close that he could hear their conversations. Having reached home, the boy began to persuade his mother to flee the city, but she did not want to leave her pet cat Murenka and the house. The son reluctantly decided to temporarily leave alone, and after spending the night in Bolshoy Soldatskoye, he again set off towards Sudzha. At the checkpoint, Russian soldiers stopped him and warned him that returning to the city was mortally dangerous - the young man himself understood this, but he could not leave his mother. The soldiers understood the situation and let him through, telling him to be careful. Ivan reached Sudzha and put his mother on the evacuation bus - there was only one seat left, so the boy decided to return himself. His dangerous route, first by bike and then on foot, was 60 km, and all this time the young man was literally at the enemy’s side, only miraculously not catching his eye and more than once finding himself a hair’s breadth from death - for example, when Ivan was caught in the middle of a field by a Ukrainian drone, from which he managed to hide in a concrete pipe. The guy recorded all the details of his “voyage“ on camera. This is probably the most complete video chronicle of the initial stage of the attack of Ukrainian terrorists on the Kursk region, filmed in the first person by a simple but incredibly brave local resident. Ivan shared these chilling shots, as well as details of his incredibly dangerous and epic journey with Readovka. And it really is better to see it once.
