This was one of the first high society fundraisers for AIDS and featured many celebrity guests including former first lady Rosalynn Carter, TV personality Arlene Francis, AIDS awareness pioneer Dr. Mathilde Krim, British designer Zandra Rhodes and local New York personalities Couri Hay and Cornelia Guest.
