I love jigheads and making them and this was kind of an experiment that got out hand. I wanted something that would make a craw fish lsoft plastic lure sit at the angry angle and thought about casting some lead into the traditional craw jig head shape. But then after emptying my pockets it seemed like penny was good alternative and cheap although these days they are not made of copper but copper plated steel. My first attempt was having the hook vertical, which worked like a ned rig with a big foot. So I tried about a 45 degree angle and this got me the angry stance . These generic amazon craws have floating claws but the weight of the penny really counter acts this and gives a better presentation than standard jig head. Tools, materials ,method, madness 1p copper or any small coin will do, if you are look for more weight solder another to the underside hacksaw to cut the slot i widened the slot with diamond disc on dremel, a needle file will do the same job to help t
