É incrível como o ano de 1997 trazia uma maturidade para a eurodance, tantas foram as músicas com letras mais profundas e melódicas, executadas por artistas que anteriormente mostraram “pancadões“ inesquecíveis, como o caso de Tonight Is The Night (1994), creditada ao Le Click com os vocais de Melanie Tournton, a grande musa do La Bouche. Com um videoclipe lançado também em 1997, temos raras imagens dos verdadeiros cantores de um hit da eurodance: o rapper Robert Haynes e a nova voz feminina do Le Click, Kayo Shekoni. Ela que já vinha mostrando seu trabalho há alguns anos, fez o caminho inverso da carreira solo para um projeto em dupla, felizmente verdadeiro como poucos naquele período. O videoclipe original de Call Me traz imagens de uma relação complicada, com traições e desconfianças entre um casal e a letra cantada pelo rapper fortalece essa concepção. Porém, uma versão alternativa da canção não possui os vocais masculinos e o sentido dela é totalmente alterado por essa ausência e a inclusão de um novo trecho na voz de Kayo Shekoni, sendo a versão escolhida por nosso canal para a estreia desta semana. A “nova voz do Le Click“ aparece em imagens de “Om Natten“, que combinada com o video original faz uma simbiose perfeita com o ritmo dançante de Call Me na fake version “No Rap Edition“ feita com carinho para todos os fãs da eurodance!
