Food and Sanitation Crisis Persists

On July 16th, 2023, I was visited by 2 representatives from the Athens Municipality with the purported intention of providing survival support and food. However, despite their disrespectful demeanor, the food they started delivering 3 weeks later, only for 2 days, was unfit for consumption, hence disposed of. While I’ve conveyed my urgent need for accommodation and financial aid, unfortunately, no assistance was given. My endeavors to secure an emergency grant and online donations have been unproductive, and the prospects of surviving malnourishment look grim. Due to the unavailability of sanitary facilities at my shelter, I had to use the water tap across the street for bathing and laundering my clothes, despite its unsuitability. Additionally, the scarcity of hygiene products and potential problems from the nearby vicinity have worsened the complexity of the predicament.
