“In this exclusive interview, Modupe shares her story of being trafficked to Oman and forced into modern-day slavery. She was promised a nursing job in a hospital, but upon arrival, she was taken to a house where she was forced to work as a domestic servant. She was subjected to physical and emotional abuse and was not allowed to leave the house. “With the help of NACAT Initiative, Modupe was rescued and returned to her home country. She now works with NACAT Initiative to raise awareness about human trafficking and help others.
