Extreme weather continues to affect China. On July 16, the city of Mianyang, Sichuan Province, was hit by heavy rain. The downpour continued for about five hours. During this time, about 240 millimeters of precipitation fell per square meter. According to local residents, this is the heaviest rain in the last six years. The roads have turned into rivers, the water depth in some areas is more than 1 meter. Houses, shops and cellars were flooded, many cars were stuck in the water. People were looking for safe places on the hills. Unfortunately, four people were injured.
