Glencore's Mount Isa Mines uses Hovermap through out the mine to safely and quickly scan voids. An alternative to CMS, Hovermap reduces the data collection time from hours to minutes and delivers high resolution, shadowless data of stopes for survey and geotechs. Knowing the true geometry of an empty stope improves blast design for adjacent development. Hovermap is also used to scan drifts for deformation and above ground to produce as-builts of infrastructure.
