You Learn Something New Every Day: I’ve seen one of these guys in concert. I didn’t realize that Jim Mankey went on to form one of my very favorite 80s bands, Concrete Blonde. I saw them open up for Eddie Money(!) in 1986. (I feel that I should mention that I was there *just* to see Concrete Blonde and spent most of Eddie Money’s set smoking cigarettes in the bathroom.)
