- Growing up in public school and even into college, I always wondered and blatantly asked at certain points, if we find hominid fossils in Africa, Europe, Asia, and Australia then why not the other three continents ? Antarctica is self explainable due to the ice caps, but why have no hominids been found in either South or North America ?
