“Here’s That Rainy Day“ is a popular song with music by Jimmy Van Heusen and lyrics by Johnny Burke, published in 1953. It was introduced by Dolores Gray in the Broadway musical Carnival in Flanders. Nancy Sue Wilson (February 20, 1937 – December 13, 2018) was an American singer whose career spanned over five decades, from the mid–1950s until her retirement in the early–2010s. She was notable for her single “(You Don’t Know) How Glad I Am“ and her version of the standard “Guess Who I Saw Today“. On December 13, 2018, Wilson died at her home in Pioneertown, California after a long illness. She was 81 years old. Nancy’s accompanied by Sid Feller (arranged by, conductor). Maybe I should have saved those left over dreams Funny, but here’s that rainy day Here’s that rainy day they told me about And I laughed at the thought that it might turn out this way Where is that worn out wish that I threw aside After it
