Performance 8 July 2018. Ivorian singer Alpha Blondy and his band The Solar System is regarded as one of the best live acts in the world of Reggae. Blondy, also referred to as 'The African Bob Marley', broke through with his debut album Jah Glory in 1982 and since then has never left the international stage. He is also a staunch supporter of African unity, religious tolerance and world peace and to this end is known to sing to Muslim audiences in Hebrew and in Arabic to Israelis.
