The deleted scene alters things up slightly. Harry gives Snape a cheeky answer, and the Potions Master goes right up to his face, informing him of what he’d get if he put a multitude of potions ingredients together. Rickman’s acting is again just the best, but, because it doesn’t add anything new to the scene fans did actually get to see, we feel it can’t climb any more up the ladder.
