Residents of the Trans-Baikal Territory welcomed spring according to Evenk tradition The first Giravun Festival was held in Chita at the Sukhotino ethno-Archeopark. The festival kicked off with a ritual invoking the spirits of the north. Groups from the northern regions of Transbaikalia showcased their national songs and dances. Workshops were held in tents.
