Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on December 7th 2022 - Summary and Highlights of the Russian Military Operation ▪️In Lyman sector, Russian troops launched offensive near Chervonopopivka pushing the enemy back from their positions. The enemy’s attempts to counterattack were suppressed by artillery and MLRS strikes. ▪️Russian artillery struck enemy deployment sites in Kup’yans’k area. Constant shelling prevents the Ukrainian command from forming a strike group to attack Russian positions. ▪️Russian Armed Forces continue to conduct offensive operation in Soledar direction. As a result of the combat operations, control over Yakovlivka has been established. The settlement is currently being mopped up. ▪️Wagner’s PMC units continue their assault on Bakhmut. Heavy street battles are taking place in Opytne and Pidhirne. In order to stabilize the situation, AFU command moves mercenaries from the “Foreign Legion“ to this area. ▪️Near Soledar, Russian troops are gradually pushing through the Ukrainian defences in Yakovlivka. The settlement adheres to the city from the north and control over it will allow to flank the defending AFU grouping. ▪️Ukrainian formations shelled the city hospital #3 in Horlivka. Pulmonology department was damaged. There were no casualties among patients and staff. ▪️The Kiev regime continues to wage a terrorist war in the liberated territories. In Melitopol, completely unsuccessful attempted assassination on the deputy head of the city administration. There were no casualties.
