The midi file is processed with the software FL studio. The respective midi tracks are sent through a USB to midi converter (E-MU Midi 2 x 2 USB MIDI interface) for percussion (Mapex 5044 Tornado Drum-Set) and glockenspiel. A microcontroller (ATmega328P) evaluates the data and controls the solenoids at the right time with the right strength.
