FULL MOVIE: Two couples plan a trip deep into the forest to escape the modern grind of everyday city life. Unfortunately for them, there's a crazed hermit on the loose who has a taste for human flesh and preys on hikers and campers for his food supply. The lunatic is also haunted by the ghosts of his two small children and his unfaithful wife whom he killed years earlier after he found her in bed with one of her lovers. The Forest (aka Terror in the Forest) is a backwoods themed slasher flick written, directed and produced by Donald M. Jones and distributed by Fury Films Ltd. It stars Gary Kent, Dean Russell, Tomi Barret and John Batis. Interesting sidenotes: in addition to playing the forest ranger, Donald M. Jones is also the voice of officer Ed Geza, who gives the traffic report on the radio; the entire film only took thirteen days to shoot; the forest scenes were shot in the Sequoia National Park in California.
