In August 2018, I traveled to Tuva, a Turkic republic in Central Asia, in order to learn about Tuvan music and culture, make music with Tuvan musicians and get an 'igil' for myself, which is their traditional string instrument. I feel lucky to have met wonderful people, and the land fascinated me. In this video I made, I'm sharing moments from my journey, accompanied by the music I recorded during our jam session with my musician friends, when I randomly played a Turkish tune which merged beautifully with
