Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov inspects military and social infrastructure of Pacific Fleet on Kamchatka Russian Defence Minister Andrei Belousov inspected military and social infrastructure facilities of the Pacific Fleet as part of a working visit to Kamchatka region. Commander of the Pacific Fleet’s Submarine Forces Vice Admiral Vladimir Dmitriyev reported to the Russian Defence Minister that a deep modernisation of the quayage has been carried in the base of Russian Submarine Forces. ’This allowed timely bring into service 7 nuclear submarines, including 5 ballistic missile submarines of the Borey and 2 of Yasen types, in the past few years,’ said Vice Admiral Dmitriyev.
