The era of rajas, princes and spectacular architecture can be still glimpsed today in the people - bejeweled women in flowing silk saris and mustachioed men in white tunics and colourful turbans. But beneath this backdrop Rajasthan’s grandeur, exists a pervasive caste system. My reason to travel to this ancient state in 2010, and again a year later, was to document aspects of one of Rajasthan’s lowest castes - the wandering Nomads of the Desert. The
