Composition, baroque lute: Naochika Sogabe Recently on my channel, more and more of you also like to hear tracks that contain more modulation (key changes). In this piece I used much more modulation than my other ambient music. The music wanders from one key to the next - as if new landscapes were appearing in front of us. So this track might be better suited as ambient for work or study. You can of course listen to it during your break, but it might seem a bit restless... To create a natural - and not sterile - environment, I intentionally created noises here. E.g. - I reduce the pressure on the fingerboard and this creates the sound of the strings and fret gut rubbing against each other. By the way, the strings of the flamenco guitar are set so low that the strings touch the frets (and we love that sound!). I would love to hear your feedback about this track! - Download MP3 audio to listen offline - Original version, about 29 minutes: 3 hours version (attention, large file about 250 MB!): Copyright ©2024 Naochika Sogabe - To use my music for your project or business, please declare it to the performance rights organization (PRO) in your country - e.g. GEMA (Germany), ASCAP (USA), PopArabia (Middle East and North Africa) etc. “Wow nice sound!“ - it took me 30 years!: Concept of my Channel: About my Instruments: One Instrument - Three Periods: Tame the Wolf - About Intonation: Unfair Payment in Music Streaming: 432Hz Healing Frequency or Hocus-Pocus?: It’s a long way for many years until you master all the techniques and knowledge to create music like this. I'm happy if my music can support you, but I also need your support. As a member of official site, you can enjoy much more music on ads-free streaming and purchase the MP3 file at a reduced price. Membership by official Site: Of course, you can donate directly: If you have no financial leeway, please keep running the skippable ads at for least 30 seconds, you will support me without paying any money. If you are a YouTube Premium member, the creator is automatically paid for each view. This lute is not out of tune, although the frets are quite irregular, but quite purely tuned! In the modern “equal temperament“ are the 3rds and 6ths quite detuned. We don't notice that because we are used to it... In this “meantone temperament“ in the Age of Enlightenment (17th and 18th centuries) is tuned so that most of the intervals sound as pure as possible. The pure intervals are based on the natural overtones and work positively for our mental health. And also for our cats - they often approach the speaker... About the intonation “Tame the Wolf!“: This music is NOT on spotify! Youtube is the only platform that pays fair amount to creators. Injustice on music streaming: I'm from Japan and studied historical music and music ethnology in Cologne/Germany and The Hague/Netherlands. Now I live at the border between Germany and France. - Oud & Lute - King of Instruments - The origin of the oud belongs to the ancient times and similar instruments were used by the Babylonian and ancient Egyptian. Until today, oud is played as the “king of instruments“ in Arabic culture. The oud found his way to Europe in medieval times and it became “lute“. During the Renaissance the lute was also regarded as the “king of instruments“. #resilience#ambient#japanesemusician
