Ariel Corley, AKA DJ Holographic, represents Detroit's living history. Born and raised in the Motor City, she cites listening to Jeff Mills and The Electrifying Mojo on local radio as an early influence. Under the mentorship of John Collins, a legendary techno historian and Underground Resistance affiliate, Corley began producing with the likes of Carl Craig and Mike Banks. Today, she's as likely to play Panorama Bar as Marble Bar in Detroit. Timeless and instinctive, Corley's sound pays homage to Detroit's contemporary soundscape. This RA live—the third and final recording from our RhythmiK stage at Barcelona's Brunch Electronik Festival in August—sees her weave Motor City classics with New York ballroom, electro and Chicago house, from Terrace and Kevin Saunderson to Mike Q and Shaun J. Wright. Production:
