***Annotations will not show up on mobile players/Youtube App!*** This video shows the sonic boom as the MiG-29 breaks the sound Barrier and goes faster than the speed of sound - during an Edge of Space flight with a MiGFlug customer. It can be seen after the video plays 0:20s. It has been taken during a customer jet flight at high altutide (as you can see). The observation was first made by our videographer Artur Sarkisyan at one of our recent flights. The compressed air during the sonic boom is visible in the form of a line that moves over the right wing of the MiG-29. Later on, the MiG-29 will accelerate to Mach 1.7.
