We showed incredible fighting spirit to take three points in our Premier League Cup group with a 3-2 win over Southampton. The match got off to the worst possible start for us, falling behind after just four minutes, Caleb Watts cutting inside from the right and his strike going in off the post past Ovie Ejeheri. Joel Ideho restored parity midway through the first half, spotting Ollie Wright off his line and producing a remarkable chip over him from outside the box. We found ourselves trailing again right on the stroke of the break after a Southampton penalty, Olaigbe converting his spot-kick in off the bar.
