In this one I explain how the blade tilt mechanism of my homemade table saw works and explain all the steps that it took to implement the trunnion blade tilt mechanism in my table saw. The trunnions were machined from pieces of baltic birch plywood using a homemade router compass. They then were screwed onto the housing of the table saw and the motor mount. To make the motor mount tilt I installed a piece of threaded rod as a crank shaft that connects to the motor mount using a custom linear nut that I made from two hex nuts and some plywood.
